Reading the comments on Stef’s post about Harvick and Johnson having a semi-heated discussion with Harvick punching/shoving Johnson in the chest.
And all of a sudden, posters have ‘standards’ and how dare NASCAR drivers show any emotion. I’m sure the FIA would come crumbling down if any of their drivers in the various series showed any ounce of human emotion.....

I’ve always liked Harvick (that’s what the 029 in my handle is for), but this still seems a bit out of line. Neither he nor Jimmie seem to be hotheads, but the stakes are high here so I can understand. Both seem to be good dudes so I’ll give Harv a pass.

Harvick gets into with another driver about once a year, so it’s not all that surprising. Also for a NASCAR post race incident this is really minor.
I personally don’t like it when this stuff happens just because people use it to make racing look bad, but it happens and the powers that be have already said as long as punches and kick aren’t flying they aren’t getting involved.
